Stove Top: In a saucepan combine 3 Tbs (30 g) of cereal and 1 cup of water or non-dairy creamer or a combination of both. Stirring occasionally bring to a boil and reduce heat. Cook 8-10 minutes or until desired consistency is reached.
Microwave: Using a microwave safe bowl, add 1 cup water or non-dairy creamer or a combination of both. Microwave on high 2-3 minutes; stir. Let stand one minute before serving.
Infants and Toddlers: For infants and toddlers, use 1.5 Tbs of cereal and 1/2 cup of liquid. Be careful that prepared product has cooled sufficiently for child. Discuss introduction of solid foods with child’s physician.
