Bring 1 litre of water to the boil. Add 1/3 cup of rice and simmer on low heat uncovered, stirring gently for 10-12 minutes, until tender. Water will thicken. Drain and rinse very well (minimum 1 minute) with warm water. Use in place of any vegetarian rice dish.
Consumer Tip: Use it immediately after cooking for making sushi (otherwise it can get too sticky). If you rinse it very well before cooking, it loses most of the stickiness and can be used as a normal rice.
